This year, The Cape Chamber of Commerce in South Africa nominated and additional awardee from Tanzania this year: Donna Duggan, Maasai Wanderings, Ltd. We are very pleased to have Donna join us at the 12th Annual IWEC Foundation Conference being held in New Delhi, India November 10th-13th. She will receive her award from IWEC Chairwoman and Former US Ambassador, Ruth A. Davis and IWEC Conference Chairwoman, Princess Noor Asem of Jordan at the Awards Ceremony on Tuesday November 12th.

Donna always had an adventurous spirit travelling on the road since 1995 – from nannying in London to backpacking and hiking through Europe & Africa. Tanzania caught her heart and she also met her husband there in 2004. Together they built a tour operation and responsible tourism community projects (Maasai Wanderings), along with a ‘glamping’ and lodge accommodation portfolio called Nasikia Camps. Her husband was tragically taken from her in an air incident in 2017 so Donna has been at the helm of the company since then, continuing their dreams and vision under the banner of ‘KUPAMBANA’ – to hustle and struggle to make things turn out in a positive way.
The company currently does business in Tanzania, Kenya & Rwanda. They wish to expand to South Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana and Namibia.
