Chosen by one of our partners, Turin Chamber of Commerce in Italy, we are pleased to announce these two successful women business owners from Italy as our 2022 Awardees.  They will be attending our 2022 15th Annual Conference in Madrid Spain Nov. 13-15th to accept their awards.

Serena Tosa, CEO, Tosa Spa, www.tosagroup.com

The company, which focuses on stabilization and safety of loads, was started in 1979 by Serena’s father. He bought two other companies focusing on packaging systems and strapping machines (among the first companies to invent and patent the strapping head) and built them all where they now are highly skilled on producing end-of-line solutions.  Upon his early departure in 2006, Serena became the CEO and continued to grow the TOSA Group and their three companies along with her brother. Serena takes pride in not only growing the company but in the bond they make with their employees.

The company produces in Italy, France and Spain. Their machines reach 115 countries and they are beginning to approach the Asian market. They are also considering opening a new subsidiary in the United States and Germany.

 

Rosanna Ventrella, CEO, Sys-Tek Societa Benefit S.R.L., www.sys-tek.it

In 1996, Rosanna started her own ITC company, SYS-TEK, which focuses on customized software and management programs. She also obtained authorization to practice as a Chartered Accountant in 2007. Through professional experiences in South and North of Italy, she has been able to improve her skills in web marketing, business development and ITC consultant. The company is in the process of becoming a B Corporation.   In her spare time she likes to design and manufacture mannequins with recycled materials. The company is also a sponsor of the Dragonette Torino Onlus (dragon boat racing) and a young curling team, the 3S Sys-Tek.

The company does business in Italy and Spain currently and is open to growing anywhere where their services can be utilized.

After Loretta’s studies she wanted to dedicate herself to journalism. However, after a tragic accident where she lost 5 family members, she joined the management of the family business.  Over the years, the business grew into Forelli Pietro and a group of three other companies producing brass and bronze ingots, bars, profiles and precision mechanical machining.  Loretta runs the business with her sons and pays particular attention to ethical, social and environmental issues. She is not only involved in business organizations, she also was president of Brescia Red Cross for 9 years and continues to be involved in the community.

The company does business with EU countries and would like to grow in the Asian region.
