Yvonne starting out in nursing sciences and with 3 sons in tow, began Star Safety, a company which operates in the Occupational Health and Safety sector offering a wide range of head to toe apparel to protect men and women against hazards in the workplace or situations where they are at risk of injury. She forged international partnerships and sourcing to create good quality, sustainable products. Her vision is to build a generational company that will break barriers and soar to new heights, putting Zimbabwe on the global map for achieving Zero workplace injuries and ultimately making a positive contribution to the nation’s GDP.
The company does business with South Africa, Germany, China and India and wishes to continue to source materials and products of good quality.
