Congratulations to one of IWEC’s 2017 Awardee, Manizha Paktin, CEO Rad Construction Company, for her profiles by both Amnesty International & The Voice of America.
Manizha is referred to as “A Brave Woman of Afghanistan” for her strength and perseverance in building her company and standing up for women.
She is the director of Rad Constructional Company which she established in 2007. The company consults in civil engineering on construction projects; constructing private houses, hotels, clinics, bridge and schools in more than 25 provinces. They also provide drawings, designs, estimations and all required technical drawings. Manizha is also a professor at Balkh University since 2005. In 2013, she also founded the organization, Stand Up For Afghan Women Organization (SAAWO)) which is in more than 25 provinces of Afghanistan. She has an M.T.S. in Construction management and planning, and now studying her PhD in Civil Engineering.
