The Consulate General of Canada in New York will host a NEXUS Mobile Enrollment Team in New York City from January 23-26, 2017.
This is a unique opportunity for individuals who frequently travel or do business in Canada to become NEXUS members. NEXUS membership provides access to dedicated processing lanes at designated Canada-U.S. border ports of entry, NEXUS kiosks when entering Canada by air, and Global Entry kiosks when entering the U.S. via Canadian preclearance airports. Members also benefit from expedited security screening lines in pre-clearance areas at major Canadian airports and dedicated TSA pre lines at over 150 participating U.S. airports for domestic, trans-border and select international flights.
The NEXUS program is an important example of the continued efforts to facilitate trade, exchange and business between Canada and the United States.
This initiative will allow individuals to apply and enroll here in New York City, saving travellers a trip to a NEXUS Enrollment Center or one of Canada’s international airports to complete the process. Interested parties must submit an application in advance and on-line, and by December 30, 2016. Further information about the application process is included in the attached document.
