CEIBS Presents Three 2018 IWEC Awardees From China

We thank our Conference hosts, China Europe International Business School for nominating three successful Chinese women for the IWEC Awards this year.  As you will see, they are very worthy awardees and we look forward to honoring them at our Gala dinner during the conference.

Please take a look at brief biographies of the awardees:

Rossella Lyu, Managing Director, Shanghai Smart Cargo Supply Chain Management Co, LTD, www,cjsmartcargo.com

Lyu is Co-Founder Managing Director of CJ Smart Cargo Group, a heavy cargo transportation and supply chain management company. Currently, she is also the Director of the China WTO Africa Affairs Committee / Shanghai Representative Office and China-Africa Business Council. For three consecutive years she has won the China Shipping Award and was elected in 2016 to the Shanghai Hongkou District People’s Congress. In 2002, She co-founded Qingdao Smart Cargo with two other partners and in 2009, established a wholly-owned subsidiary—Shanghai Smart Cargo in Shanghai. Over the years, CJ Smart Cargo Group have been setting up branches all over China and overseas, especially in Africa.

Renee Wang, CEO, Castbox, www.castbox.fm

Renee is the CEO and Founder of Castbox, an award winning global podcast platform that enables anyone to easily find, access, create and enjoy spoken audio content.  Prior to founding Castbox, Renee was a global app monetization expert at Google in user acquisition, optimization and publisher engagement where she contributed 42% of Google’s new app revenue.  She was the 7th employee and Android engineer at Umeng and was one of the earliest Android developers in global sphere.

Ling Yang, CEO, Geneplus-Beijing, www.geneplus.org.cn

Ling is the CEO of Geneplus which was established in 2015.  Headquartered in Beijing, the company focuses on the precise need of cancer prevention and treatment relying on high throughput sequencing and high-performance computing platforms. Headquartered in Beijing, it has set up business branches in Suzhou and Shenzhen. It covers 19 provinces, 170 key cooperative hospitals and more than 600 cooperation experts.  Prior to founding the company, she was the director of key laboratory of clinical molecular diagnosis at BGI, Shenzhen.  Ling has won awards for her work in the prevention and treatment of SARS and for scientific and technological progress, genome sequencing, etc.
